is a special hook-pointed stick which is used to horizontally pass the weft through the warps. It is different in length, the shortest being 40 cm. To work with this tool, they pass the stick from its hooked point through the warps across the Warp, tie the weft onto the hook and then slowly stretch it to fix the thread on the knots. The tool is also known as "Sheesh" in some areas of Azerbaijan. In Kashan and other regions, weft-winding is done by hand which is a very hard and sometimes damaging task.
