Aniline

or aniline oil which is a colorful oily alkaline substance and its distilled type is a kind of color which turns dark with the impact of air and light; it is also poisonous and flammable with a special smell and burning taste. It is used as a solvent to make dyestuffs, medications, resins and perfumes. Aniline was first made in 1826 by distilling indigo and later in 1841 by distilling indigo and potassium. Its molecular weight is 93.12. In Iran, some types of cheap unstable synthetic colors are known as aniline colors.[1]
