Oxidizers

refer to substances which produce other compounds under the environment temperature or a minor change of it. The biggest group of oxidizers is the peroxides by which molecules of oxygen are easily released. This includes hydrogen oxide, permanganates and a number of nitrates. Some oxidizers that are important in the textile industry include: hydrogen peroxide, per-sulfate, sodium or calcium hypo-chlorate, and sodium peroxide. Oxidizers should not be kept in closed unventilated areas or next to flammable materials or liquids with a low burning point.[1]
