is a big wide-mouth container with a circular bottom; is known as Tiyan in most areas including Azerbaijan and Arak; is used for dyeing silk, cotton, wool, thread and fabrics through a process in which water, color and the item are heated in it. To prevent changing the color, the bowl is made of a type of mordant which does not react with acidic or alkaline materials and colors; otherwise, it creates compounds which change the colors.[1]
